Murray Lincoln Campus Center

Year Built: 1970
Architect: Marcel Breuer

90% of UMass student pass through the Campus Center every day. Located smack in the middle of campus (on what was originally the site of commencement), it's home to the Daily Collegian, the Graduate Student Senate, the Science Fiction Society, Student Legal Services, the University Store, and WMUA, as well as several administrative offices. It boasts a hotel, several cafes, and a variety of meeting rooms and auditoria, and each year hosts many conferences. It also acts as a practical teaching space for the Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration.

Murray Lincoln '14 served as Director of Agriculture in the 1950's, and was on the council of the Peace Corps.

Cool Fact: The Graduate Lounge is the only place on campus you can legally get a beer.
